About Olumuyiwa Idowu, MD
Biography
Dr. Idowu was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and grew up in Staten Island, NY. With his father being a psychiatrist and his mother an OR nurse, he was exposed to the medical field at an early age which helped to drive his interest. He attended Washington University in St. Louis on a full scholarship through the Ervin scholarship program and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. Care Philosophy
Dr. Idowu goal for his patients is to focus on the cause of pain and to find a treatment that is both effective and least invasive for the patient. This also includes focusing on non-operative techniques and referrals if appropriate for his patients.
